Making a Fabric Flower

2

Stitch the raw edges together along the length, leaving a small gap in the centre

3

Turn RS out through the gap and press. Slip stitch the gap closed.

4

Work a gathering stitch (either by hand or machine) along the folded edge, then pull up the gathers tightly.

Starting at one end, roll the gathered strip around, stitching it in place at the bottom as you go. Keep rolling and stitching until your flower is complete.

Decorating the Wreath

Make as many flowers as you like and arrange onto the wreath until you’re happy. Fix the flowers in place, either with a hot glue gun or by stitching them on carefully.
